As Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park finishes renovations to its outdoor amphitheater and prepares for its ninth annual Outdoor Summer Concert Series, the organization has announced the first four acts of the 2011 series.

Steve Martin will perform the banjo at Meijer Gardens

• Huey Lewis and the News will be on staage June 8
• Steve Martin will perform with The Steep Canyon Rangers – An Evening of Bluegrass & Banjo – June 26
• k.d. lang and The Siss Boom Bang will be in town June 30
• and Pink Martini will be on stage July 8

Tickets go on sale to Meijer Gardens Members on April 30. Members also receive exclusive discounts. Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 14. For more information on these acts and how to become a member, visit www.MeijerGardens.org. There will be more acts announced in April.
