We talk today with Peter Woodbury, from the Association of Research and Enlightenment, about Edgar Cayce, one of the, if not the most, documented psychic and seers in history. Peter works at the A.R.E., the foundation that Edgar Cayce started, which continues today to make the transcripts of his body of knowledge available. This is the first part of a two part show with Peter, and this hour focuses on the legacy and history of the man who was known as Edgar Cayce.

If you are unfamiliar, there are hundreds of works about his life, and thousands of documented case studied in which he participated while in trance. He was a most intriguing man, reluctant to embrace his abilities at first, and even more surprised at the depth and breadth of material which he brought through during these trances.

Peter helps us to understand this great man, and also helps us to understand how he came to be involved with the Cayce foundation himself.  No stranger to psychic abilities, Peter also had a great grandmother who lived to be 107 and was a medium.
