A trip to Ann Arbor made me smile. I enjoyed “It Came from Mars” at Performance Network. My review of this cute show is now posted on the On Stage page.

I also saw one of the last performances of “Power Plays” from Icarus Falling and dropped by MSU for Dmitri Berlinsky’s  recital with his International Chamber Soloists.

There is a scandal at the Oscars. Listen to MIentertainment Daily News on Monday morning to get the scoop on “Lockergate.” Just click on the button after 7 a.m. And speaking of Oscar, you are all invited to come to the www.MIentertainment.biz Sixth Annual Oscar Watch Party this Sunday at 6 p.m. It is absolutely free, but I will pass the Men’s Warehouse Top Hat for the YMCA. You will get a free buffet courtesy of El Azteco, Applebees, Jersey Giant, and Bake n’ Cakes, and one lucky group will get a ride to and from the event courtesy of Airport Limousine Services. It is free and you don’t even need a ticket, but do me a favor so we can have a head count: drop me an email at voiceman@comcast.net and tell me how many will be in your party and give me a reason to send the limo to pick you up.

Also this coming weekend is “The Watch List” at Riverwalk Theater, and you might want to get your tickets to see the new show at Starlight Dinner Theater. “Opal’s Husband” debuts March 12.
