Best show of this weekend was Blue Door at Williamston Theater. This one got a perfect four out of Fordyce. I also loved Fortinbras at Riverwalk in Lansing and was able to catch part of the musical review at Starlight Dinner Theater. This show was the season opener at the Starlight Dinner Theater.

We also had a blast at Ocktoberfest in Old Town and stumbled on the instant opening of the newly renovated Gracie’s Place in Williamston. I talked to the owner and chef at Gracie’s and the people and the bands at Ocktoberfest. Listen for those interviews Monday afternoon on our radio show “MI Afternoon.”

Coming this week

Damn Yankees premieres at Encore in Dexter, while Sonia Flew continues at Performance Network in Ann Arbor. In Lansing, Fortinbras finishes its run at the Riverwalk in Lansing, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged has two more performances at Lansing Community College.
